Information needed to run your account
When you register, we store your email address, display name, a password hash, verification and recovery records, and sign-in sessions. We use these to provide your account, verify your email, recover access and protect the service. We do not store your password as readable text.
We also keep the library actions you choose to save, such as watchlist entries, likes, “not interested” selections, language preferences and selected tags. Optional saved viewing progress is associated with your account so you can resume an episode. Security and technical request records help us diagnose failures and limit abuse.
Optional history and personalization
Saving watch history and using your viewing choices for personalization require the corresponding opt-in. You can keep browsing without them. When enabled, viewing records can include the episode, playback position, completion state and time of the update. Optional detailed playback and recommendation events are retained for up to 90 days.
Recommendations use editorial rules and explicit tag matches. Your account data is not used to train a personalized AI model. Turning an option off stops future optional collection or use; use the separate clear-history and reset-preferences controls to remove previously saved choices.
Website analytics are optional
When configured, Google Analytics 4 and Umami measure visits to public pages only after you accept analytics. We do not send them your email, account ID, passwords, verification tokens, search text, form entries or private account pages. Page addresses are stripped of query strings and fragments before measurement.
The analytics choice is stored in your browser. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies after consent. You can reject analytics without losing access to the site, and reopen the analytics privacy control to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics requests and clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Your browser choice may need to be set again on another device or after clearing browser storage.
Advertising is planned, not active
AdSense is currently disabled. We will not enable it until the publisher and ad placement details, approval, suitable published content and consent configuration have been verified. Accepting website analytics is not consent to advertising.
Before advertising begins, this notice will explain the providers, purposes and available choices. Where required for the intended advertising, including personalized Google ads in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a separate Google-certified consent management platform will handle advertising choices. Google certification does not itself establish legal compliance.
Services that help operate the site
We share only the information needed by service providers performing their operational role: Railway for hosting, cloud storage or delivery providers for published media, Golden Dawn for account verification and recovery emails, and analytics providers when configured and you have consented. Golden Dawn uses its email delivery provider to deliver account messages.
Loading a page or video necessarily sends technical connection information, such as your IP address, to the hosting or media provider. Their systems may process data outside your country. We do not sell your account or viewing records.
How long information stays
Account and saved library records remain while needed to provide your account, unless you remove the relevant data or request deletion. Detailed playback and recommendation events have a 90-day retention limit; saved resume positions are separate library records and remain until cleared.
Verification, recovery and session records expire according to their security purpose. Limited records may need to remain for security investigations or legal obligations. If a deletion request has such a limitation, we will explain it rather than promise immediate erasure from every system.
Use your controls or make a request
In your library, you can export your library data, clear watch history and reset preferences. Account settings let you change your display name and password. Library export does not claim to contain every account security record.

We may need to verify account ownership, but will never ask you to email your password. Rights and response requirements can differ by location.
Changes to this notice
The date above identifies this version. We will update this page when our data practices change and provide a further notice when a material change requires it. A new feature does not automatically grant consent for a new purpose.
