How stories reach the shelf

A catalog entry should help someone make a viewing choice. It should also be something we can stand behind.

Last updated

A real episode comes first

Before a title is made public, its episode files, descriptions and publication permissions must be ready. Drafts and unverified submissions stay out of the public catalog. Artwork alone is not evidence that a watchable film exists.

We check the relevant rights basis, such as ownership, a license or a supported public-domain claim. Permissions for music, voices, likenesses and translated editions can be distinct from permission for the underlying story.

Describe what viewers will actually find

Titles and summaries should convey the premise without revealing a major turn unnecessarily. Episode counts refer to published episodes. “Complete” should mean the published story is complete, not that every imaginable sequel exists.

Audio and subtitle labels must match actual files. A translated page is not sufficient to advertise a dubbed edition. Creator credits and AI production notes must come from the title’s supplied and reviewed information.

Tags explain; they do not predict everything

Genre describes the kind of story, a trope describes a recurring narrative device, mood describes the viewing feel, and setting describes its world. Visual style and content notes answer different questions again. Keeping these distinctions makes filtering more useful.

We avoid using spoiler tags as prominent selling points. Content notes take priority over a playful description when viewers need a clear warning. Age guidance is an editorial aid, not an official certification.

Recommendations with an understandable basis

Public selections use editorial placement, publication recency and tag matching. Optional personal selections use the preferences or viewing choices you permit. The system is rules-based; it is not a trained personal recommendation model.

We do not invent ratings, reviews, awards, plays or popularity counters. No title is described as a community favorite without evidence. A sparse collection should look sparse.

Review and corrections

A report about rights, translation, misleading metadata or accessibility can trigger a review. We may correct a description, replace a file or withdraw a title while a concern is investigated. Include a page link and timestamp when a specific scene is involved.

Our guides are original explanations published under the Free AI Drama editorial team byline, a site role rather than an invented individual. Their dates identify the published or revised version.

Advertising does not replace editorial value

AdSense is disabled while the necessary content, approval and consent work remains incomplete. Google’s readiness guidance emphasizes original, relevant content and usable navigation. These pages do not imply that Google has approved the site.
